My SECOND big picture for this evening goes to my second cross-stitch work.

After being done with the Dangeresque stitch, my mother and I started tossing around ideas for the second. She knew that I was a fan of Spyro the Dragon, so she jokingly threw that suggestion at me. Surprisingly, I found myself making the chart the next day and rushing out to get the threads needed to put it all together.

This picture lasted in production from mid-January through to the end of April. With the recent title, Dawn of the Dragon, being hot off the press I thought I'd base the pic around that, so this meant going with the re-designs for Spyro and Cynder with Sparx accompanying them, alongside my "trademark" (lol) optimistic clifftop background work.

Color-wise it's a little more simplistic in comparison to the Dangeresque work, though I still paid a lot of attention to detail to the shades for all 3 characters involved. There's roudly 22 different colors involved this time around.

So yes, my mother was surprised I actually did it, and I was actually surprised it turned out so well. I really hope I get to do stuff like this again <3
