It's Sunday night and once again I'm going through all the stuff I've dealt with over the past few weeks and seeing which I can be able to host tonight.

This is another image for the Multi Picture Project, this time being the representation of "no time". And to convey that meaning, it meant literally being in panic over being late to miss a certain deadline, so it's most obvious that schooling would come to mind on this one.

When thinking of schooling, the first thing that came to mind was a younger Neo Cortex and his time at the Academy of Evil. Given the hostile relationship between him and Madame Amberly in Crash Twinsanity, it's been obvious that he didn't exactly put the effort in to be much of a coherent pupil during this time. So it's most obvious that due to this he might have been late for class a few times.

Reference pictures for Cortex in his uniform were too few and far between, and the few that I found made it hard to identify exact proportions. But from what I noted I still managed to capture the gothic side for the academy well through the color scheme outside the main subject. Heck, it even looked as if in spite of what he's been through he's determined to get to class anyway. Could it be one of his more favorite lessons - biology?

At any rate, drawing the Travelers' Tales style interpretation of young Cortex outside from my corny Schoolhouse Rock interpretations was an interesting challenge. If I do it again, then it would still be worth doing it nonetheless

Neo Cortex, whether young or old, is a character in the Crash Bandicoot series and is in the hands of Activision Blizzard. And I drew it. ^^
