MPP stands for "Multi Picture Project", which I think is the best way I have to describe the task of drawing 100 images based on the themes provided. I noticed that through =lionessb's journal today, and I thought I'd give it a go to help tackle my art deprival as of late.

The first image I cracked was for the "Two Roads" part, and for that I returned to the roots of heroism for Spike, via his appearance in "Shattered Glass" along with the other five original Gem Holders. I know that some newbies seemed to feel like they won't catch up on a story like that that I wrote around here, but basically it was all a giant adventure that towed two parties (a "light" party headed by Spike and a "dark" party headed by Hikaru up at the top) towards a final destination of a palace held into the sky (the silhouette on the top right), thanks to the guidance of their Glass Gems (placed to the bottom left). I wrote the fic twice, once by Spike's perspective and another by Hikaru's, so what I ended up doing here was creating that kind of effect into the image.

To make it feel even more so, Spike ends up taking the warmer route down below, heading through a desert landscape in the sunset. Meanwhile, Hikaru takes the high road, which has colder colors and a colder climate too. Both Spike and Hikaru were designed to be opposites in most aspects of their appearance, origin, personality and upbringing, and this is what I really want to show here.
